Your bill consists of two main parts - the cost of gas and the cost of delivering the gas to you. The cost of gas is determined by what AWG pays its gas suppliers, with no additional mark-up or profit to AWG. The cost of gas is shown on your bill as the "Cost of Gas" line item. The cost of delivering gas includes all other operating costs and the APSC approved return on AWG's investment in its gas distribution systems. Other operating costs include the costs of operating AWG's trucks and equipment and the extensive piping system that delivers gas to you, payroll for employees, and costs of operating our offices. The cost of delivering gas is shown on your bill as the "Delivery Charge" and "Customer Charge" line items.
