Weather Normalization Adjustment
The Weather Normalization Adjustment occurs only in the colder months of November through April.  This adjustment reduces the impact of fluctuations that will occur in the amount of the Delivery Charge when the current weather differs from normal weather (a 30-year historical average).  When the weather is colder than normal in the billing month, it reduces the amount that you pay for your natural gas service.  On the other hand, when the weather is warmer than normal, it increases the amount you pay.  The adjustment per CCF is different each month based on the changing weather.  The total on your bill is determined by multiplying the adjustment per CCF times the amount of gas you use.
